LOURDES WATER GESTURE PRAYER
 

The water gesture process is a short ritual performed by the volunteers at Lourdes to assist Pilgrims and is linked to the 9th apparition of Our Lady to St Bernadette, in which she told Bernadette to "go and drink and wash at the fountain". This Prayer is to be said as part of the Lourdes Water Gesture process, following washing of the hands, face and forearms, with Lourdes Water:


Our Lady of Lourdes, heal us for the greater glory of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Our Lady of Lourdes, heal the sick, convert sinners. Health of the sick, Help of the suffering, pray for us.
