Here are golden principles of surviving in Hollywood and the film business in general:

-Never be rude nor mean towards other filmmakers, cast, crew, talent, and film workers in this business.

-Never take it personally. In general terms, it isn't personal; it's only business.

-Filmmakers, cast, crew, talent, and film workers in this business will have different politics and religions than you. Put your differences aside, and collaborate and work with one another.

-Never "keep up with the Joneses" (*this means don't buy things you can't afford because it's a fickle business and work might dry up, and you could end up financially struggling in the extreme); this means always save, save, save your money. Just because you have a million dollars or ten million dollars all of a sudden, doesn't mean you should spend most of it or half of it.

-Never be phony towards other filmmakers, cast, crew, talent, and film workers in this business.

-Never screw over any other filmmakers, cast, crew, talent, and film workers in this business.

-Never be jealous, envious, resentful, nor spiteful towards other filmmakers, cast, crew, talent, and film workers in this business.

-NEVER STEAL OTHER FILMMAKERS' PROJECTS THAT THEY ARE WORKING ON BUT HAVEN'T MADE YET, GOTTEN GREENLIT YET, AND-OR HAVEN'T COMPLETED YET!

-Never ever EVER sabotage other filmmakers, cast, crew, talent, and film workers in this business. Examples of this include: sabotaging their projects; breaking into their houses and apartments; vandalizing their property; exhibiting targeted individual tactics against them; exhibiting gangstalking tactics against them; exhibiting cult abuse tactics against them; exhibiting MK ULTRA tactics against them; exhibiting COINTELPRO tactics against them; stealing their property; poisoning them; illegally surveilling them; expelling them from restaurants, homes, and other establishments and institutions; cold bloodedly murdering them; raping them; etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. IF YOU KNOW OF ANYBODY IN THIS BUSINESS WHO DOES THIS, THEN TELL EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD! EXPOSE SUCH PEOPLE!

-Never be corrupt, criminal, nor tyrannical towards other filmmakers, cast, crew, talent, and film workers in this business. IF YOU KNOW OF ANYBODY IN THIS BUSINESS WHO DOES THIS, THEN TELL EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD! EXPOSE SUCH PEOPLE!

-Never join organized crime groups. IF YOU KNOW OF ANYBODY IN THIS BUSINESS WHO DOES THIS, THEN TELL EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD! EXPOSE SUCH PEOPLE!

-Always blow the whistle on any kind and all kinds of corruption, criminality, and tyranny that happens in this business.

Those are the golden principles.

Now here are some suggestions:

-Be kind. Be nice. Be respectful. Be civil. Be sincere. Be genuine. Be helpful. Be humble. Be appreciative. Be professional.

-Encourage all filmmakers, cast, crew, talent, and film workers in this business to pursue, improve, and succeed in their creative projects, artistic ambitions, and artistic goals.

-People in this business (i.e. filmmakers, cast, crew, talent, and film workers in this business) sometimes get angry, get furious, and lose their tempers. Always remember: it's OK. It happens to everybody in this business. Then remember: be forgiving, be understanding, be empathetic, be compassionate, then get back on track, and get back to work.

And that's it.
(****And I encourage everybody in the film business to read a book titled THE DECLINE AND FALL OF WESTERN ART by Brendan MP Heard; it is a very enlightening book and it should provide inspiration and encouragement for everybody in the film business. And I also recommend What is Cinema? by Andre Bazin and Transcendental Style in Film by Paul Schrader. And, last but never least, I encourage everybody to read all film studies books on the cinema of ALFRED HITCHCOCK!)
