LOGLINE: A September 11th survivor begins to experience memories which contradict the government narrative of the events, all of which implicate that the September 11th attacks were an inside job.
TREATMENT:
Early October 2001: Protagonist awakens in Manhattan general hospital with amnesia.
Protagonist is transported back home to Blandford house in Houston Texas where his wife tells him they have a new neighbor (a military man) who moved in the house across the street. "Quick and sudden sale", she said, "as if it happened out of the blue".
Protagonist begins to have memories of 911 attacks which contradict the official government narrative. His memories consist of seeing explosions going off right before the building collapsed and being in the ground floor and feeling a bomb going off in the basement.
Military man across the street from protagonist's house calls his superior: "He's starting to remember".
Protagonist begins investigating the events of September 11th.
Protagonist, protagonist's wife, and protagonist's daughter begin to experience targeted individual tactics and gangstalking tactics according to the Patriot Act, Homeland Security, the NSA, and the Deep Military; his military neighbor is in on it, as it is revealed.
Protagonist travels to New York to interview (with tape recorder in hand) firefighters who were there as first responders. They tell him they saw detonators go off in the building as if it was a controlled demolition. The protagonist confirms with them that's what he saw (as his memories come back). He tells them he remembers being in the ground floor of WTC when he felt like a bomb went off in the basement. "Did it look like it collapsed because of heat melting the steel?" The firefighter said, "No way. This was an inside job. Controlled demolition. Fire can't melt molten steel at those temperatures. I've got a buddy in demolition who told me it looked carbon copy like a controlled demolition".
As he is away, he receives a phone call from his wife, saying that somebody ran her and their daughter down with a car as a kind of intimidation tactic.
Protagonist is detained by a shadow unit of NYPD for questioning. They tell him he was detained on September 10th, 2001 because he wasn't authorized to be there. Protagonist explains he's interviewing fire fighters who were there. Then he remembers something: looking at the sky, and seeing an explosion in towers 1 and 2. No planes. Just explosions. It's a realization he keeps to himself. This is when they discharge the protagonist to go home.
The protagonist leaves. On the plane ride there, he begins coughing violently. He goes to the airplane bathroom and coughs up blood in the sink.
He returns home in Houston, and meets his wife at home. They are visibly shaken and afraid. Meantime, the protagonist collapses on the floor coughing violently. He is admitted into the emergency room where the doctors tell him he has stage 3 turbo cancer. It is inoperable. He only has three months to live.
He does some researching and finds a meeting conference is being held in New York City for 911 survivors and loved ones to be held in mid November 2001. He goes to New York again for the conference.
There he meets a 911 widow who tells the story of the last phone call she had with her husband who worked on a middle level floor of the building. As she is recounting this story at the conference, a memory comes back to the protagonist. It is a memory of him looking at empty floors in the building, mainly the middle section of the WTC. That's when he recognized that it was absolutely impossible for that woman's husband to have worked on that floor....because those floors were empty. That's when he knew that nobody died in the buildings during the September 11th attacks. That's when he knew that a lot of these survivors and loved ones are frauds.
After the conference was finished, he was approached by a young Jewish man. The young man says he was the barista who pulled the protagonist into the coffee shop from the street as the towers collapsed. The young man then says, "You had a video camera. I kept it and the tape. It's in my apartment".
They retrieve the camera and tape from his apartment. This is when the barista tells the protagonist, "I have a friend who worked inside the towers for 20 years. He said most of those buildings were vacant for a long time. Empty floors. There is no way anybody perished in those towers that day." The protagonist asks, "Can we interview him?"
The barista calls over his friend, and the protagonist interviews the WTC employee on film. The employee gives his testimony on tape about the Hollow Towers. The employee also said he watched live streams of the clean up of the towers. He watched it like a hawk, and swears he never saw any debris, any wreckage, nor any bodies retrieved from the rubble. He then gives the protagonist CDs he created containing the live streams.
The protagonist returns home. He returns home to find his daughter sick as a dog who was vomiting profusely in the toilet. The protagonist finds out she was poisoned.
The protagonist tells his wife, "I can't go to New York anymore." The wife says, "Whatever you're investigating about this, leave it alone. They're terrorizing us because you know something they don't want you to know. Plus, you're embarking on your own investigation of this. Just leave it alone! For our sake!"
There is a knock on the door. It's the military neighbor. The military man tells the protagonist that he should stop investigating what he's investigating. He's already terminal. The difference is...do you want your wife and daughter to survive... especially considering they already know too much? The military man leaves.
The military man gets in his car and drives to an empty golf course. He meets his superior there. The military man explains he has this situation contained. If anything goes awry, it means the military man's ass.
When the military man returns home, there is a knock on his door. It's the protagonist. He tells him, "I've already decided: you'll just have to kill all three of us. Go fuck yourself."
The protagonist watches the CDs of the debris pickup from the tower site. He was right; no bodies; no debris; no nothing.
He also watches the footage he got of the barista's friend he interviewed, while simultaneously listening to the audio interview on his tape recorder.
The next morning, the CD's, videotapes, and tape recorder are gone. There is a phone call: he answers. It's a playback recording of the protagonist listening to the tapes from the night before. Then the military man says, "Good luck".
The military man hangs up the phone and peruses through his collection of photos, audio recordings, and surveillance video of the protagonist and the protagonist's family.
The protagonist carefully watches the military man. The military man leaves on some errands. The protagonist takes his video camera and breaks into the military man's house. In there, he records all the proof that the military man has illegally surveilled him and his family.
He goes back to his house, and calls the barista. The barista surprises the protagonist: the barista made copies of the tapes. The whole footage. The protagonist says, "Can you and your friend come on down to Houston, and we can air this on Public Access? We've got to get the word out that this was an inside job. These bastards are about to start a war. We gotta stop them."
The protagonist calls Public Access and schedules a live taping-broadcast with them.
On the day of the live broadcast, the protagonist engages in a battle of wills against the shadow government with their targeted individual tactics and gangstalking tactics against him. The military neighbor is involved in the wartime tactics against him. They try to get him hospitalized in a mental hospital, but it doesn't work. The protagonist ends up winning the series of battles.
The protagonist makes it to the live broadcast on time, and collaborates with the barista and the barista's friend on presenting video evidence of no planes, no bodies found, hollow towers, controlled demolition explosions bringing down the buildings, bombs going off in the basement, mannequins being thrown off, etc. The taping is broadcasted live towards the entire city of Houston. The military man tunes in on his TV and sees all the evidence being broadcasted. Various other Houstonians tune in. Some even tape the broadcast on their VCRs.
When the broadcast ends, the protagonist returns home. There is a violent severe thunderstorm that lasts for a long while. During this storm, the military neighbor cuts the power to their home. The military neighbor plays cat and mouse as he tries to break into their home and kill them. The military neighbor and the protagonist engage in a violent struggle in the backyard of their house in the midst of the storm. The daughter kills the military man.
Flash forward: January 2002. The wife and daughter are at the protagonist's funeral after he died of stage 4 turbo cancer. The wife and daughter return home. The daughter answers the phone, and it's a playback of their conversation. There is then a sound of a bug being reinstated on the phone. She goes outside and sees various walkers passing by the house...peering into their house. She is eating dinner with her mother, and notices some neighbors peering into their window. The mother goes to the front door and asks who the person is. He introduces himself as the new neighbor across the street. The mother shuts the door. It's obvious the new neighbor is another spy. The gangstalking has continued. The daughter turns on the television, and it is revealed a camera feed that spies into the living room from an angle. She turns the channel. It's from another camera surveilling her bedroom. The television then goes back to normal. The daughter looks upward and around. The hidden cameras are everywhere.
Later that night, the daughter joins her mother in the mother's bedroom. They are watching news when they are discussing recent matters pertaining to the Bush Administration. The daughter asks, "What do we do now?" The mother says, "Just go along with what they said. Pretend the war isn't happening. The surveillance, the stalking, all of it." The daughter says, "You don't understand, Mom. That's part of the war." "If we just ignore it, though, then we beat them", says the mother. The daughter then says, "That only goes so far. What if that doesn't work after a while?" The mother says, "You'll think of something. Don't worry. We're going to beat them. All of them."
The film ends with a close up of the daughter as she watches the news about the Bush Administration's wartime efforts, while aware the shadow government is illegally surveilling them.
