Hollywood and the film business should not be abolished but rather they should be REFORMED. The swamp in Hollywood and the film business should be drained of all corruption, all organized criminality, and all tyranny. I know I jumped the gun when I called for the abolishment of Hollywood, the film business, all film studios, the film industry, all movie theatres, all film schools, all film festivals, all film and television award ceremonies, the television industry, all literature publishing houses, all literature periodicals, all literature magazines, all art galleries, all art exhibition houses, all art museums, all stage theatres, and all stage theatre companies. I DON'T WANT THAT TO HAPPEN. But I do believe that those businesses and institutions should be REFORMED. The swamp in those businesses should be drained of all corruption, all organized criminality, and all tyranny. As an artist and as a film director, it is so excruciatingly hard and difficult to continue in such a corrupted criminal tyrannical environment. ART DIES IN SUCH AN ENVIRONMENT. CINEMA DIES IN SUCH AN ENVIRONMENT. I am a firm believer that Hollywood and the film business should be REFORMED, not abolished but REFORMED. I am a firm believer that Hollywood, the film business, all film studios, the film industry, all movie theatres, all film schools, all film festivals, all film and television award ceremonies, the television industry, all literature publishing houses, all literature periodicals, all literature magazines, all art galleries, all art exhibition houses, all art museums, all stage theatres, and all stage theatre companies should be REFORMED, not abolished, but REFORMED. And, for the sake of art, for the sake of cinema, and for the sake of humanity, I am a firm believer that Hollywood, the film business, all film studios, the film industry, all movie theatres, all film schools, all film festivals, all film and television award ceremonies, the television industry, all literature publishing houses, all literature periodicals, all literature magazines, all art galleries, all art exhibition houses, all art museums, all stage theatres, and all stage theatre companies should be forever purged of all corruption, all organized criminality, and all tyranny. When such a purge happens, that is when art and cinema will survive and thrive.
